Day 2: Vancouver

Unfortunately, it was raining all day long, but we took this opportunity to visit many different coffee places :) And we managed to walk a lot as well. Here is our route for the day:

Our first stop was near Vancouver Convention Centre:

From where we also saw Gastown district:

And some views of the downtown:

Views of the Granville Island:

Granville Island is a peninsula in Vancouver located across False Creek from Downtown. We reached it by crossing the Granville Street Bridge. This area was previously industrial manufacturing, but now it hosts different tourist attractions and entertainments, such as public market, large marina, hotels, art galleries and clubs, theaters and shopping areas.

We liked a lot walking in the Charleson Park and observing the downtown from another side of False Creek. It felt like walking in Brooklyn Park in New York. It may seem that Vancouver is gloomy based on our pictures, but we didn't feel that way! We were not lucky with the weather but next time we'll visit in summer :)
