Day 4: Brugge

Brugge is a small city 1 hour away from Brussels. Trains run every hour that makes commute very easy. Brugge is one of the “canal” cities with architecture dating back to the 14th century. Its city center is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO.

Once you exit the train there’s an information desk where you can get a free map. The city center is really small and is walkable in a few hours. I’ll just leave here some of the pictures that we took. Unfortunately, the weather was not sunny.

Day 3: Brussels

We arrived at 11pm to the Midi train station from where we walked to the historic center. Brussels offers beautiful 14th century architecture, art, delicious chocolate, waffles and of course beer.

Here are some pictures from the gorgeous main square Grand Place:

There are many museums in Brussels but since we prefer outdoors we decided to travel to Brugge the next day.
